Amazon advertising, managed to your margins
We plan, launch and manage Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns for pet brands, with a target for each product based on what it can actually afford to spend.
When brands bring us in
These are the situations we hear about most on first calls.
- ACoS looks acceptable, but the profit and loss statement hasn't moved.
- Every bid change trades sales for efficiency, then back again.
- Broad searches soak up budget while the best keywords run out of budget early in the day.
- Nobody can say which campaigns are profitable and which are not.
- A new product launched months ago and still isn't ranking.
- Competitors are showing up on your brand name and your product pages.
What's included
Advertising management covers the full cycle: setting the economics, building the structure, running it every week and showing you what it did.
Strategy and economics
- Account review covering structure, search terms, placements and wasted spend
- Break-even ACoS and target ACoS for each product, from price, fees and cost
- Goals agreed per product: grow, hold or make more efficient
Campaign structure
- Campaigns organized by product family and purpose: research, performance, brand defense and launch
- Keyword targeting across broad, phrase and exact match
- Product and category targeting, including your own listings and competitors'
Ongoing management
- Bid and budget management, including bids by placement
- Search term reviews: new keywords harvested, wasted terms added as negatives
- Budget pacing so your best campaigns don't run dry
- Planning for major sales events and seasonal demand
Reporting
- Spend, sales, ACoS and TACoS by product family, in plain language
- New-to-brand and brand search trends from Sponsored Brands
- A change log: what we changed, when and why
How we manage your account
The same four habits on every account, in this order.
Split the blended numbers
An account-wide ACoS can hide a product that earns and a product that loses money. We read performance by product family and campaign type before we change a bid.
Set targets from your margins
Break-even ACoS is your margin before advertising. Each product gets its own target, so budget flows to what is profitable rather than to what is popular.
Protect what's still being tested
Launches and keyword tests get clear rules for when they graduate or stop. We check whether something is an intentional test before we cut it.
Make every change reversible
We start with changes that are clearly safe, then adjust structure step by step. Every change is logged with a way back.
How one blended number hides a losing product
An example of what we look for first. One account total can look healthy while one product family loses money on every ad sale.
| Product family | Ad spend | Ad sales | ACoS | Break-even ACoS | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Training treats | $3,000 | $10,000 | 30% | 45% | Profitable, room to grow |
| Chew toys | $2,400 | $4,000 | 60% | 35% | Losing money on ad sales |
| Account total | $5,400 | $14,000 | 38.6% | Looks fine on its own |
Cutting bids across the whole account would slow the treats that are working. Raising them would scale the toys that are losing money. Each family needs its own move: more budget behind the treats, and for the toys, tighter targeting and a look at the listing and price before any more spend.
Advertising questions
Which ad types do you manage?
Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands are the core of every account we run. We add Sponsored Display where it adds profitable sales, for example to reach shoppers who viewed your products and didn't buy.
Do you manage to ACoS or TACoS?
Both, each for its own job. ACoS tells us whether a campaign pays for itself. TACoS, your ad spend divided by total sales, shows whether advertising is growing the whole business or just buying sales you would have made anyway. We set targets for both, by product.
Will you rebuild everything at once?
No. A campaign with history is an asset. We start with changes that are clearly safe, like adding negatives for searches that never convert, then restructure in steps and watch the impact of each one.
What access do you need?
We work through user permissions you grant in Seller Central and the advertising console. You keep full ownership and control, and you can change or remove our access at any time.
Does the ad budget go through you?
No. Ad spend is billed by Amazon directly to your account. Our fee is separate, and we never hold your advertising budget.
Can you guarantee results?
No one can honestly guarantee results on Amazon, because Amazon runs the auction and decides rankings. What we commit to is the work: a clear plan, careful changes, and reporting that shows exactly what we did and what happened.
